Sadly, Zeke needs a new home as he isn’t so fond of his young TORTIE housemate who is an adult, no longer a kitten (you know, tortitude!).

He is an ideal companion for someone with a quiet home, seeking calm companionship. He is a handsome boy.

Zeke will be super sweet when he's feeling cuddly. He purrs like a diesel engine, and is super soft and fluffy. He's very talkative when he wants to be. And, like most Maine Coon mixes, has that trill he’ll make when content. His favorite activity is sitting in his bed watching birdies or squirrels, and loves getting time in an outside catio. His favorite toys when he is in the mood to play are wand toys and hair ties; he is not a rowdy cat.

His favorite places for scratches are the side of his neck, under his ears, on the bridge of his nose/ between his eyes, his lower back at his tail bone, and right between the shoulders. It will, of course, take a while for him to get this familiar, but once he is sure this is home and you are partnered, he will snuggle his human - complete with headbutts, purrs and lots of making biscuits, right on your chest. When he sits in your lap, he likes to wrap his arms around your neck, like a baby. He also loves being cradled like a newborn while getting cheek and chin scratches.

His favorite delectable is seafood; salmon is ideal and the paté his ultimate. And - no surprise - his favorite treats are salmon greenies and PureBites shrimp/salmon flavor.

2012 for background:  Zeke was rescued from a shopping mall. Typical of being part Maine Coon, he's got the awesome eyeliner and fuzzy bundle of fur and he's a laid-back guy, and fine with other felines and gentle dog in the foster home.
