Learn How You Can Help Homeless Cats

Do you have feral cats near your home or office? Are you or someone you know feeding cats that have not been fixed? Have you been bothered by a litter (or litters!) of kittens and you want to keep this from happening again?

If so, please come to our free, Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) Workshop and learn how you can help make your neighborhood a better, safer, and healthier place for both cats and people!

This class, hosted by our friends at the San Jose Animal Care Center, will teach you everything you need to know to trap feral cats at your home or work and free and low-cost resources for getting them spayed/neutered here in Santa Clara County. Trapping and fixing feral cats is EASY and the most humane way to solve the problems you face. Get the information to help you be successful right away, and have all of your questions answered from our experienced, TNR volunteers.

Show your skills and learn some new board games at a fun night benefiting 13th Street Cat Rescue

Come out for a fun night of entertainment and friendly competition playing board games, benefiting 13th Street Cat Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care and finding forever homes for cats in need. Doors open at 4 pm with delicious hors d'oeuvres and wine and cocktail options. At 5 pm, the board gaming begins. The event is free, but we are asking for reservations to plan attendance and we hope you will donate $20 or more to benefit 13th St. Cat Rescue. See you there!

We will have tables dedicated to the following games.

Wingspan (up to 5 players)
Azul (up to 4 players)

Enjoy a festive evening of film, food, and fun while supporting Breast Cancer Prevention Partners and local charities.

The San Jose Woman's Club is sponsoring the 13th annual LUNAFEST film festival at the Club in downtown San Jose on Friday, May 12th.  It's always a great event as we watch amazing movies and catch up with friends while donating the proceeds to Breast Cancer Awareness and local San Jose charities. 

Tickets are general admission at $90 and a sponsored table of 8 for $900. Dinner is going to be smashing with fresh salad, amazing lasagna, and cookies. Then just popped popcorn as we watch the movie. All the meal selections are healthy and plant-based friendly.
