It’s with a heavy heart I’m seeking to place my two 7-year old rescue cats in a new and loving home. Coming to the decision to find a new family for Oliver and Kirby hasn’t been easy nor has it been taken lightly, yet an upcoming change in living circumstance has left me no other fair option.
Oliver and Kirby were rescued only days old in the Fall of 2008 in Palo Alto. I adopted the two pals in January 2009 from the Palo Alto Animal shelter where they were carefully cared for, vaccinated, spayed and neutered as well as microchipped. They have been indoor pets; I keep dry food and water available around the clock, they share a 3 oz. can of food each evening. Kirby and Oliver use only their scratch boards for scratching and always use their litter box.
Kirby reminds me of a toasted marshmallow — she’s mostly white but has calico markings around her face and along her back and tail. Kirby can be shy at first while she observes your moves. She’ll quickly become your friend and cuddle up next to you. On occasion Kirby will chase her tail which is really funny - she too likes to play with her feathered fish toy, she’ll bat it around and toss it in the air. Kirby walks me to the door every morning as I leave for work. Both Kirby and Oliver will follow me around the house making sure not to miss a thing!
These cats can be adopted together or separately to the right home
