Ashby was found wandering the streets with her leg dangling behind her. Her leg was amputated and she she began the long process of healing- physically and emotionally. She has since learned to trust people more and be more confident in an indoor environment.

Ashby is a very pretty tabby kitten with distinctive “tiger” markings. She loves to play and chase the Go Cat Mouse and Feather, and she gets along with other cats/kittens. Ashby can be somewhat of a “night owl”, as she has been known to entertain herself with cat toys and lots of “cat talk” after the lights go off. Ashby can also be shy when first greeted, and sometimes keeps her distance until she knows that you are friendly. But once she knows that she is safe, she loves attention and pets, and her loud purr can fill the room. If Ashby is not plopping down in front of you for some rest time against your arm, then the odds are she is not far away
