This sweet-faced boy is cautious and a little shy, but once he warms up to you, he will follow you anywhere!  Gandalf loves to snuggle up with someone when he's ready for a nap, but most of the time he's racing around chasing his brother, Took, or playing with a favorite toy.  He loves to hide under the bed and dash out to pounce on Took as he walks by, or tackle and wrestle with him. They play a kitten version of hide-and-seek, and Gandalf loves to be the one to hide and then jump out on his brother!  Gandalf is very social, and wants to be in the same room with his brother and his people, but he's easily startled and doesn't at all like loud noises or new people.  He has a nice purr that he turns on when he finds you and settles in for some petting, and meows when he thinks it's time to eat.  So far he has not liked babies or vigorous tots, but he's okay with older kids who are quiet and gentle.  He gets along well with the adult cat in his foster home, and absolutely loves his brother, Took.  Gandalf would do best adopted with Took because they are both such social boys and need the company when their people aren't around.
