Hello, my name is Xena!  I epitomize what rescue is all about.  I was found dying from starvation, dehydration, and massive flea infestation.  I was laying down and could not even get up anymore - I was only hours from death.   The nice person who found me and my two brothers got me into foster care right away where round the clock care for several days brought me back to life!  I am a fighter!  I have a sassy personality, and love to play with balls - I run around with them in my mouth. bat them around, and play keep away from my brothers.  I've recently learned to purr, and am learning to trust people.  My foster mom says its my independence and strong will that saved me.  I have medium length fluffy hair, and will be an absolutely beautiful cat.  I love other cats and tolerate the dogs I live with.  If you're interested in taking me on the rest of my life's journey, I'd like to get to know you, too!
