I was abandoned on the Guadelupe bike trail with my two kittens. They still needed me for nourishment. It was a little scary. And I even had a claw on one of my “many toes” (I am polydactyl more than 5 toes on each paw) that had grown around through the bottom of my foot and was starting to come out the top but I sure was not going to leave my babes.
The foster lady picked us all up and has been caring for us since. She had the claw clipped and removed from my foot and she had me spayed. I am healthy, one of my kittens has already found a home and I am ready to find one too! The big male cat that lives here doesn’t like sharing.
Though I am not much more than a kitten myself, perhaps 10 to 16 months, the fact is I am quite a sweet and tender lady. I can amuse myself easily with a ball or catnip toy. I enjoy lying in a sunny window but since being spayed, do not care if I go outside or not. Nothing is nicer though than a kindly cuddle or a gentle petting. I would make an ideal companion for an elder couple or single.
In truth, I have not even minded any of the children I have met here but a truly raucous household just would not be my choice.
Hero was one of the Shakespeare leading character ladies and I will say that I am at least as smart, perhaps prettier and the only match I am interested in making is you and I.
