13th Street Cat Rescue

Fern was adopted as a kitty and now the adopter has to move into assisted living and can't take her!!!!! Her family is very sad that Fern (now Luna) needs a new home. She has been a single cat, but she loves to watch the outside cats and will run from window to window to see them, so likely will be ok with other felines. She does have a of couple dog friends, so clearly fine with dogs.
Luna is very sweet. She likes to "talk" to you--and waits for an answer. She can be a cuddler and sleeps at adopters' feet at night. Favorite toys are feathers on a stick and a small felt mouse. Also pencils or anything that shape to bat around!
Luna would arrive with her automatic feeder, her water fountain, some circle floor scratchers, litter boxes, and her bed which is about 3 ft tall with a scratch post. There's also a 7 ft tall tree house she loves if you have room!

Fern is very elegant in her black tuxedo coat with pretty little white hairs sprinkled throughout. She is energetic yet demure and loves to play and snuggle. Her newest favorite thing is butterfly kisses and she seeks them out every day with her morning cuddle. She is very smart and has quickly and effortlessly learned the rules of her foster home: no begging, no getting on tables, no biting and the all-important no stepping on the laptop keyboard!  She is fine about other cats and gentle dogs.  Fern was rescued from a garage and backyard where she and mom cleverly found a bag of cat food in and ripped into it!  Mom is now fixed and back "home" and Fern is ready for safe, forever home, instead of the streets.  If you're looking for a sweet, smart and playful little bundle of cute, Fern’s your girl!
