Thelma is a very sweet kitten who is rather small for her age but with a very large heart.  She was born in a neighborhood backyard with several littermates, and another litter of kittens from her grandmother.  Although Thelma had been handled a little when she was younger, she wasn't taken inside and "rescued" until she was six months old.  Due to this, she was a shy and sometimes scared kitten, but after several weeks of socialization and handling Thelma has blossomed into a sweet kitten who loves to be petted and easily purrs when given attention.  She would probably be more shy at first in a new home, but with loving owners would soon feel comfortable and want lots of love.  She's not bothered by other cats and particularly loves to hang out with her brother Tommy who's also available for adoption.  Although they can be adopted out separately, they would make a great addition to a new home as a bonded pair of kittens.  Thelma would probably not do well with smaller children, but older children or teenagers would be fine.  Thelma is spayed, defleaed, vaccinated, and dewormed.  Please contact Barbara atbju67@verizon.net for more information or your are interested in adopting Thelma
