UPDATE: 3/22/22 - Ray's surgery went well, he was a bit stressed after as he hated the cone, but he has calmed down and is as his usual self making the best of it!
3/14/22 Ray has to have both eyes removed, Eye Specialist identified that one eye'd iris is ruptured and now iris lastered to the back of the Corona (a few weeks ago it blistered and had some leakage), and the other eye is also damaged as well.
We'd appreciate any donations to assist with the cost. The eye surgeon will do both at once and as aresult it will cut the cost to about half.
We recently had Stevie's microopthalmic eye removed, socket cleaned and closed and he is doing well. We are hopeful that Ray's surgery will go well.
Stevie and Ray are not only brothers but best friends and total characters. Stevie is a little stealing manic, he loves to take things and run off with them; of course one thinks balls, but that includes nail clippers - when you clip his nails and put the clipper aside he picks it up and goes off with it!!!! So cute, LOL!
These boys were both born with eye issues including eyelids that were not formed properly and have undergone surgery to help correct that and make them more comfortable. But they also have other genetic issues with some impaired vision - but they don’t let that slow them down. They are active and fun-loving kittens, and JUST LOVE people.
Stevie hardly leaves Ray’s side and when Ray is not nearby, he lets out the cutest little meow searching for him. But their favorite part of the day is to curl up with each other and cuddle, if they can't be with you!
They are comfortable with adult cats and large dogs. Clearly, they are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
