Whisker (Spayed Female, Short Hair, 7 to 8 lbs, black,)
Whisker is a kitten out of a feral born litter I have caught in order to catch their yet to be spayed mother. With another litter on the way I am looking for indoor homes for these cats. They get along well enough with their littermates, and have been introduced to my older cat, who is grumpy and does not like them very much, but they have managed not to offend her too much.
Whisker is house friendly, and would prefer an enclosed bed to hang out in when the humans are moving around. Because she is more of a traditional “don’t touch me” type cat, I would not recommend Whisker to first time cat owners.
Whisker is a cat who loves being an indoor cat but could do without the human in the house the majority of the time. They are always lounging in and around their cardboard furniture and enjoy the toys in their room. They have a great time playing with their brother Velcro and are curious and respectful about my older cat who is grumpy about more cats in the house.
Whisker is your classic “black cat” who enjoys supervising. Does not want to be touched, but it’s OK if she’s the one touching you. I sometimes call her “Whisper” because she is silent. Prefers to lounge in the window or lie at your feet.
Although she is the wariest of humans out of the three, she is the bravest about all other strange things and is the first to go exploring.
Please contact Katie at KatieWinegarden@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Whisker.
