Hans is very sweet and affectionate. He will lay with you while you pet him. He loves attention and loves to explore. He also loves to sit by the window. He likes to eat and will meow once he can see even the smallest amount of the bottom of his bowl.

Hans was found on the streets- not neutered - and tested positive for FIV

FIV-positive means that your cat has been infected by the virus, but if it is not showing signs it may be years, if ever before the cat develops the clinical signs referred to as Feline AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome of cats). Just being diagnosed with the FIV virus does not mean your cat has feline AIDS

The primary mode of transmission for FIV is through bite wounds. Casual, non-aggressive contact does not appear to be an efficient route of spreading the virus. As a result, cats in households with stable social structures where housemates do not fight are at little risk of acquiring FIV infections.

Hans is a friendly, gentle cat who has had no issues with being around other cats.
