Oh wow - Dazzle is just that, a dazzling, gorgeous gray tabby and white kitty, likely part Maine Coon - she is so pretty.

She has been around other cats, dogs, and little kids, but it’s clear that she was not always totally comfortable with the kids. She enjoys playing and is happy to be petted and briefly held, but it’s the approach and hold she is not so sure about (a sign kids may have chased her some and grabbed). So we recommend no young kids in the adoption home. Being at our place, where it’s quieter, she'll purr while being petted and held (we don't chase, but encourage) but she doesn't like to be held for long. She has been a nice kitty to work with and fun as she is brave and willing to learn. She loves her toys and especially the paper bag and plays soccer with her ping-pong ball and paper strips - see video.

Once settled in a home, and with some coaxing and bonding, she will be a wonderful companion cat from all that sheltering at home time. She must be adopted to a home with a screen door or other secondary control on the entrance. And adopters must have cat experience; she not a good first cat to adopt, unless you are patient and willing to work with her.

She is also a bit talkative, so if you are really wanting a companion, just think of the conversations you can have! She can be adopted as an only pet but you do have to have time for her; and, as mentioned, she will be fine with other cats and dogs in the home.

She is available, as this is a rescue from a home that didn't bother to get their first cat spayed.... Mom is spayed now of course, as are all the offspring of which Dazzle is one.
