Elmer and Elsie are very friendly siblings that have been through a lot in their young lives (3 years old). They were bottle-raised (see baby picture below) and then survived the Camp Fire which destroyed Paradise in 2018, fleeing with their owner, the flames literally surrounding them as he drove out. And then unexpectedly this year the owner died and the cats were left alone wondering "what now?". Sad to have it happen to them during the holiday season.

Well let’s answer that for this nice pair - a forever home that they can enjoy as they always have, together with a person(s) that loves them.

As you can see, the pair is very bonded and we do want them to stay together.

They are easy-going and we were able to trim their claws as soon as they came to us (they are very happy in your lap). Elsie adores sitting with you and will rub on your legs to get you to say / put in your lap.  Elmer is a big boy and just so very handsome.  Healthy, easy to handle and friendly to strangers - they should be a good match for almost any home.
