This sweet girl was first noticed as a kitten living outside in the area between County Jail and the Hall of Justice the winter of 2017. We fed her and provided her with a shelter to keep her safe from the elements. She even knew when people would be arriving and leaving and would always be there to greet them. Although, she wouldn’t let us pet her at first, Sasha eventually came to really enjoy daily lap time and basking in the luxury of being brushed on a regular basis. She did well living outdoors for awhile, but when construction started all around her it made it unsafe for her to stay there. She is adjusting to life indoors, and though shy, she is a sweetie and loves attention!  She is enjoying hanging out by the heater in her foster home and she is ok sharing a  room with a quiet adult male.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
