Rain is a lovely, friendly cat.  She runs right to you when she sees you.  She is gentle and attentive to people (all ages) and fine about gentle dogs.  She enjoys plush toy balls and batting them around.  Like a dog, she is very bonded to her foster family and will follow you to see what is going to happen next!  She enjoys lying on your lap and being petted and is just the perfect cat.

Her background - she was surrendered at a local shelter with her three tiny day old kittens and we were asked to rescue the family.   She was a great mom; Thunder, Cloud, and Lightning were her kittens and are all now adopted.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
