13th Street Cat Rescue

My name is Kitty.   I am playful and sweet and love sitting on the window ledge looking outside at the birds and chasing the squirrels in my mind.   I am a beautiful gray short haired with adorable white mittens and socks and a white chest and just about the most beautiful green eyes you have ever seen.  

I love a good nap and snuggle up to you while you are sleeping.   I also like to lay on you and let you scratch me (but not on my hindquarters).   If you are new, it might take me a minute or two to get used to you but then I warm up quickly.  

I am selective about who can pick me up.   My current owner not only picks me up but gives me kisses on a regular basis.   I have never lived in a household with other cats, dogs or children and would do best as your one and only girl.   I live indoors only and am completely litter box trained.   I am fine on my own and never tear anything up.   I will greet you with welcome meows when you come home and to tell you good morning.  

I have been spayed and vaccinated.   I tolerate but hate having my nails trimmed.   I love love love wet food as a treat but eat dry food regularly.   I am not a kitty anymore but still love to run around the house and love it when you chase me or play hide and seek.  

I like to be where you are and will plop down and watch tv with you.   I have been with my girl since I was born and she is heartbroken to let me go, but she is a college student with an apartment lease with 3 other roommates.   One of her roommates just found out he is severely allergic to cats.   So she wants to find me a new, loving and forever home.   I will be your cuddle buddy for life.
