This sweet kitten was rescued in an apartment complex in Cupertino.  She is thought to have been born to a cat abandoned by previous residents.   She was rescued along with her sister, who was the dominant of the two Tessa  was the shyer more submissive kitten, clinging to her mother and sister.   That said, with lots of love she's come around to be sweet and affectionate with her foster mom.  She is very energetic, happy with lots of playfulness and purrs to warm your heart.  She likes to play with people, other cats and any toy she can find.

She gets a little lonely at times and will meow until she finds you.   Then, her confidence restored, she's off to play again.  She is still a baby in this way, wanting a little reassurance every now and then.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
