Fluffy is, as typical of Maine Coons, a perfect gentleman, and basically laid back about everything, but also very playful; he just loves the laser light toy.  He asks to jump into your lap when he is hoping it’s cuddle time and you're sitting and watching TV and he enjoys a good nap on your bed if that is OK with you.   He trills when appropriate to say something, like Maine Coons do.  He settled right in to the house when we got him, great with the other cats and the gentle dog.  Fluffy was an owner surrender at our local animal control shelter and we were told about his situation from an animal control officer.  After talking to his first owner (who was being evicted and had to surrender her cats), she assured me he was a great cat, and he is!  We had to wait to get space for him in our rescue, but are so glad we rescued him, as he is a total lovebug, wants to jump in your lap and head-butts.  He is solid in build, but not huge, and his coat is very easy to care for, not too fine.  He has a good appetite in that he will eat a variety of kibbles and, though he enjoys his food, he is not a chow-hound (again a gentleman).
He is not a bright orange, more a light orange, but not quite buff either - he is unique and gorgeous.
