Adrian is back to us wanting a new forever home.  This awesome cat was a 13th St Cats rescue kitten adopted out last year, who "left" his home, and ended up in emergency a month later, close to death.  He was in shock, 25% weight lost, had a broken tail, 3/4 of which was missing, degloved on his back with maggots in the wound (like nothing we'd ever seen) and a fractured leg. We could tell he wasn't ready though to "check out", and with our intensive care around the clock for 3 days, we stabilized him enough that he could start having the surgeries he needed.  Now he is a "Manx" but other than that and an FHO scar for the broken leg, he's as good as new.  13th St Cats thanks Dr Rusher and her team for all their efforts to help us save him and doing much of his medical care and surgeries gratis.

Adrian is a total love bug.  He loves people and will always greet you at the door.  But he is also very active and curious.  He is a total trooper, never complaining once with all we had to do to save him.  He wants to sleep with you on the bed and he really enjoys wrapping around your head on the pillow at least some of the time.  He is fine with other cats and gentle dogs and kids.  He is ready for a safe, loving forever home, with someone who'll make sure he never goes outside again (unless they have cat fencing).  He's already used up about 5 of his lives, so no point in pushing his luck.  He's a wonderful cat and deserves nothing but the best of homes.

Kitten bio:
Adrian is a loving little kitten; the smallest of the litter, he took a while to catch up in size but he makes up for it in his love of people. He loves to play and puff balls and ping pong balls are his favorites.  He knows how to play independently, but he also loves to be with people. He'll purr and purr when you hold and pet him and he loves to sleep on the bed with you at night.  He's the perfect little cherub, he's so sweet.  He gets along with other cats and is also fine with gentle dogs too!
