Ella is a b lue mackerel tabby kitten and is  sweet, super-smart, and high-energy. She loves to play, and especially enjoys leaping through the air after a feather wand toy. She's fast, agile, and will climb everything from shelves to people! Try giving her a treat and she might take it...or she might give you a high-five.

Ella definitely has a mind of her own and would do best in a home with folks who like their cats on the "clever and slightly bossy" end of the personality spectrum. She can be a bit wary of new people, and prefers not to be picked up and carried around -- but interactive toys will have her climbing all over the furniture (and you) in no time. Plus, once she's managed to tire herself out, she'll happily engage in cuddle-purring, whether on a chair with her brother Bruce or in a nearby human lap. She'd love to be adopted with her brother, but would also likely do fine as an "only cat".

Ella and her brother Bruce were born to a feral mom-cat (who has since been spayed), but their foster humans managed to coax the whole family indoors when the babies were just a few days old, so they were nursed and socialized right from the start.
