Hi, I'm called Freedom now, and here's my whirlwind story, boy this is all happening so fast!
I had been alone and worried all the time out on the streets, and then someone took me to a local shelter, where I got put in a small cage, and that was really scary, and the next day I got "fixed" whatever that means. Then I was to go back out the day after that, but the people who were to return me to my original place said I was too small to go back out and put me in their home.
That was a bit scary to go to their place, too, because I didn't know the place, or the people, and I was clearly nervous, but always polite; so then they bathed me, and boy did that feel good, and then I realized they meant well! And they gave me food, good food, another nice thing. And lots of toys and other kitties to play with, more good things. So it didn't take me long to realize I was safe and this place is really fun! I really like the puff balls and the feather toys, and to play with the other kitties, oh! and moths on the window screens at night! I really like people and being petted, especially my head and jowls, but I also arch my back and tail when they stroke my back, and I quickly purr my thanks. I like it here, but they say I'll like it even more at a real forever home where I'll get even more love and attention - so I'm up for it!
Oh they mentioned I'm something called a "handsome orange tabby with a nice soft coat and I'll clearly be a lover back to my adopters" whatever that means! But thought I should pass info on to you!
I can be seen at the foster home or at the adoption fair at PetSmart Campbell Saturdays.
