This very handsome boy has a lot of love to give, see videos. He will take a while to warm up in a new home as he came to us via the shelter as his owner had passed away and then caregivers turned him in to the shelter in March. There were three other cats with the owner as well, so Bobbie knows cats. The shelter realized after a few days that his microchip led back to 13th St Cats! They contacted us and we picked him up as soon as we could. He was never with us before, but had been a cat we fixed for a private party at a lower cost than they could get. So a lot of change and all stressful; it’s not a surprise he wants to be sure it’s safe! He doesn't have a mean bone in his body but he was really not sure what was happening when!
So he has blossomed with the slow acclimation and attention. He adores people and being petted and brushed. He likes his cubby holes in the cat trees in his room, but now always comes out to greet us for petting. He is also called "kinky" due to his odd tail that clearly somehow got kinked; it’s actually a very cute part of a great cat! He will be a wonderful companion cat.
