Dottie (or Dot) is a cat who likes attention and will tell you so! She is outgoing and wants to be with people; she will tell you it’s her time if you ignore her too much! So good if you enjoy talkative girls! Dottie enjoys playing with ping pong balls, chasing them around the house, spring toys, paper balls and small wiffle balls and loves to have you throw them so she can chase! We think she will learn how to fetch as well. When she's done playing, she'll kick back on the top of her cat tree. She also likes to jump up onto the couch when you are there for a sit session, and even will nap with you there!

She's a great cat for a home that has people to love and take care of her and want a good companion cat. She's a beautiful brown tabby having the target markings and thus bold striping with white on her feet and face. She was the first mom of the season we rescued with her three kittens, all of whom are adopted now. So if you are looking for a young cat as a companion, she's your gal. Of course she'd like to be an only princess, but is also OK with proper introduction to others. She gets along with all the other cats in our home; we don't know about dogs but bet again that, with proper introduction, she will be OK.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
