A cuddle bug

Shiva: 

Shiva is the biggest cuddle bug in the world. She will spend every second cuddled up with you if you allow it, you can pick her up without issue, but she prefers to have her feet on solid ground. 

She is an indoor only kitty. A 13lb Domestic long hair tabby And Maine Coon mix 

She will run out of the litter box if it is not in a secure place and seems to prefer a covered box. We can provide this if needed.

Shiva should be an ONLY CAT. We are her second family (first one moved) and we were not aware of this need. She is her happiest, healthiest self when she is the only cat child.

That said, she LOVES children and is very good with them. I have never been scratched by her despite her particular dislike of nail trims. I have come to find out that if there is food involved, she will do anything.

She is incredibly playful and has been called “dog cat” for her stranger loving and devoted personality. We have tried everything under the sun to fit together her and our resident cats needs/personalities, but it has become abundantly clear that Shiva is not happy with other cats.

She will come running anytime you call her name, and is always ready to give love to absolutely anyone who wants it. Shiva is truly a wonderful cat and will be an absolute blessing to any (single cat) household that she enters. 

*We do not know how she handles dogs, her aggression toward other cats is strictly food/litter box oriented so she may be a good fit for a family with a dog. It took a week for her to get adjusted, but after that she was all cuddles.
