Happy is so happy to be rescued, though he does take a while to get comfortable in new surroundings. We’re not sure where he came from but he was turned into a local shelter with paint on him and scabies, and he’s a little porker when it comes to food, so likely he was roaming on the streets. We've cleared the scabies and given him baths (thus paint-free and oh so soft a coat), and now fixed etc, he is all ready to go.
Happy is a sweet boy and when you hold and pet him he makes biscuits and purrs up a storm!
He enjoys dangle toys and playing with balls and his sleeping box. Happy is interested in other cats so we think he'd love a playmate, but he is very gentle and loving so he could be a solo kitten to a home with lots of time for him.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
