  Grace loves to play (anything will do, paper bags, balls, boxes, wand toys) and enjoys our petting her (see video) as she arches her back and starts to purr.  And she loves her canned food, it's a great treat reward for her.  She is a short-hair tortoiseshell (Tortie) young kitty, and since she was rescued from a SJ strip mall, shy on intake, it's likely an experienced quiet home with time to spend with her, will be ideal.  We have seen that given some love, gentle attention and patience, she will thrive.
  She can be adopted into a home with other cats, as she enjoys company of cats and does have a sister if you are looking for a pair (her sister Faye is long hair), but adopters do need to be aware that Torties are often independent as adults.
  This kitten will be a great match for a person or family that understands what it takes to earn the trust of a rescue kitty and the attitude of a Tortie. They are sassy, playful, independent and smart, and can be a solo adoption to the right home.
