Bean showed up in our garden one day, and for several days, whenever we would approach, he would scurry under the deck. Then one day, he fell asleep under a rose bush, and I snuck up on him and was able to pick him up. We assumed he was feral, and we were hoping that after a period of time, we would be able to socialize him. But to our surprise, after a short time in the cage, he became friendly, and he is one of the most affectionate kittens we have had. He came to us at about 14 weeks of age. He is perfectly healthy, a lot of fun, and very cute.
