About Baby & Lili | |
|
|
Baby & Lili are bonded, short small cats, and love their pets and belly rubs. They can be picked up briefly but are very uncomfortable in doing so.
Both cats are extremely healthy with no mites or fleas. They are outdoor cats and do not like dogs. They are totally unfamiliar with a litter box as for their entire lives they have lived outside.
We do provide them with dog houses and daily feedings and water.
They wait for us at our entrance and meow for us, those that feed, to come out and pet them. They do come when called.
Here's their story:
When we moved into our offices, we acquired a feral female cat, short haired & black, and fairly old. We named her Mama as soon she had a litter of two short haired black kittens. A female we named Baby. Mama became pregnant again and gave birth, from a different dad, to three very small tiger striped kittens. Two were adopted and taken home by a co-worker. The other, we named Lili.
To stop the breeding, we enlisted the help of a women who captures feral cats and has them spayed, micro chipped for our location and their ear cropped to indicate so.
Thus Mama, Baby, & Lili were all captured, and spayed. Mama soon disappeared but Baby & Lili have remained in our care.
If you are interested in adopting these sweet souls who are only looking for a patch of sun, and place outdoors contact sandy-brown@leavitt.com
