Maggie is the sweetest little 3 legged kitten ever! She had a tough start but has bounced back with the enthusiasm of a winner. She was found by some EMT’s trying to cross Washington in Fremont. She was emaciated, anemic and something had torn up her back leg which the flies had gotten to as well.  They took her to a local vet and they contacted us where we all decided to remove her leg and save her life. .  Maggie is a cutie and having 3 legs has not slowed her down.  She loves chasing toys, purring, climbing up on the bed with you to cuddle and hunt toes.  Having only 3 legs might seem like a disability but Maggie has found that it makes her belly much more accessible for quality belly rubs.  She tears around the house and loves her people.  She doesn’t love her foster family’s dogs, but she is getting used to them.  She is what we call a tuxedo, but over the last few weeks, her color has been changing from black to white.  We don’t know how white it will turn, but it is a unique quality that just adds even more character to Maggie's winning personality!  She would do well in a home with other cats, and respectful dogs, but she would also be okay on her own if her people are available to spend plenty of time with her.
