Friend is a gorgeous/unique bicolored Tuxedo or Felix cat - almost all black with faint black striping down her back, with an awesome and unique super-faint white stripe down her nose and on her muzzle, stark white feet and a pretty white tummy. She loves to give you butterfly kisses, and will happily cuddle in any crook (of your arm, leg, on your back, etc). She's a super sweetie and would make a great addition to any cat-loving family. 

So, "Friend"? really? Why would we name her that? Well, it's a funny story: we ended up getting Friend to help his co-foster Eddie because Eddie simply wouldn’t stop crying when we left the room. Eddie would scream his lungs out, and simply wouldn’t stop. So, we asked the folks at 13th street for a friend to help Eddie out. Enter… FRIEND!  This little gal ended up becoming Eddie’s BFF (oh wait, now THERE’s a name… LOL). Anyway, Friend is awesome - she’s a really chill kitty; while she does like to play, she doesn’t go all-in like other kitties, and will always be the first one to tire and head back to her pillow for a nap. Friend is inquisitive - she loves to sit and cuddle, and often plays with Eddie when the mood is just right. She is just as happy sitting quietly by herself.

Sidenote: we try our best to make sure our fosters have been “exposed” to the right things: loud noises, vacuums, kids, frequent handling, and how to be held and have their nails clipped (without fighting and drawing blood from us). Please come by and see Friend and see if you think she’ll make as good of a kitty for you as she has been for us. And if you’re up for it, consider two, as Friend and Eddie have become good, well, friends!
